Transfer to hotel for rest before early morning drive.

Day 2

  1. After just 40 kilometers from the capital, a multitude of Merina craftsmen mark the road and decorate the landscape: sisal fiber bags, aluminum kitchen utensils, or small wooden cars. The day ends in Antsirabe, the city of water.

Day 3

Antsirabe - Morondava

  1. Departure for the Menabe region, walking along the rice fields and baobabs.
  2. Picnic lunch at noon and dinner with an overnight stay at the hotel.
Morondava - Bekopaka

Day 4

Morondava - Bekopaka

  1. In mid-morning, disembark from the barge to reach a beautiful landscaped area; a 30-minute walk will lead to this lovely setting. Depart before noon, crossing high cliffs to reach the village of Berevo. A nearby village will join us in the evening for a celebration with songs and festivities in honor of the guests.

  1. Today, you will explore the Tsingy de Bemaraha, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1990. Its sharp peaks forming the limestone massif rise up to 30 meters. At the same time, the diversity of the fauna and flora in the landscape (park entrance fee included).

Day 6

Bekopaka - Morondava

  1. After breakfast, you will return to Morondava by taking the turnoff from the Avenue of the Baobabs, known for its Baobab Alley. The baobabs are unique to the region, with Madagascar home to six of the eight species found worldwide. After enjoying the beautiful sunset, you will continue on to Morondava.

Day 7

Morondava - Manja

  1. Head towards Belo sur Mer, passing through dense and dry forest as well as meadows dotted with villages. In Belo, you will cross the river by ferry and then continue on the track to Morondava. Spend the night in a hotel, with free time to enjoy your final moments.
  2. Arrival in the village in the evening and overnight in a local guesthouse.
Manja - Andavadoaka

Manja - Andavadoaka

  1. Depart for Andavadoaka, where the straight road stretches out as far as the eye can see. Cross the beautiful savannah landscape and see baobabs, Antadroy, and Mahafaly tombs. In the afternoon, visit the seafood market and explore the city.

  1. Two free days to organize various water activities: excursions, snorkeling, visit to the village of Ambatomilo, sand, dunes... Relax on the beach under the Madagascan sun.

  1. We continue our adventure on the sandy track. Between the shoreline and the lagoons, various birds sing, transporting you to a dreamy otherworld.

  1. This national park is one of the most renowned hotspots for wildlife in Madagascar's tropical rainforest. Isalo consists mainly of steep, wooded slopes with well-designed trails. Some lead to viewpoints where the vistas are stunning. In addition to the beautiful lemurs and other wildlife, leeches are common in this park. The guide will do their best to show you various species of lemurs, reptiles, birds, and insects. During night walks, the guide will take you to a clearing where they place banana slices on branches for the mouse lemurs and leave pieces of chicken for the Malagasy striped civets.

  1. Two-day stay in Isalo to relax and explore this majestic park, visiting the Canyon and then the Black and Blue Pools. In the late afternoon, you will arrive at the parking area where the driver will be waiting to take you back to the hotel.

Isalo - Ambositra

Day 13

Isalo - Ambositra

  1. In the morning, visit the Andraikiba Crater Lake and Tritriva Lake. Return to Antsirabe and continue south on the road. Arrive in Ambositra in the late afternoon.

Ambositra - Antananarivo

Day 14

Ambositra - Antananarivo

  1. On the last day of your trip to Madagascar, set out for an excursion to Antsirabe to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Highlands. The city has preserved beautiful Merina-style houses as well as some colonial buildings, including the thermal establishment. Next, visit local artisans: a workshop for semi-precious stone carving, an embroidery workshop, and a handmade candy shop are on the itinerary. After lunch, travel back to the capital, Antananarivo, with a stop in Ambatolampy, the capital of aluminum cookware production. Don’t forget to bring back some souvenirs from your trip to Madagascar.
  2. Overnight in Antananarivo.
